Spouting and Guttering Solutions in Canterbury
on 02/02/2021
Whether the style of your building is traditional or modern, Roofline will work with you to ensure your spouting and guttering looks great and performs for years to come. We understand the importance of choosing the right fascia, guttering, downpipes and rainwater heads that will provide a highly functional and robust system for your property. An excellent gutter system will prevent leaks and reduce erosion by minimising water exposure. Indeed, having the right gutter system properly installed in your home is very important. Oftentimes, spouting can become worn out over the years and it’s usually too late before there’s a break or leak and a new system is required. While the actual lifespan of guttering can vary, if there are trees on your property your gutters may have a shorter lifespan and require more preventative action such as gutter guards and cleaning.
Guttering Systems that Last
At Roofline we supply and install guttering solutions that are manufactured with extra strength (0.55mm steel), and give the cleanest possible finish to ensure they’re hardy as well as stylish. We take care of your rainwater system including steel fascia’s to which your guttering can be attached (also extra strength 0.55mm steel) as well as guttering in different styles to suit your property – Quad, ¼ Round, Square, ½ Round, Old Gothic, 115D, 125D and Canterbury Box. We also have 125 Box or 175 Box available for commercial guttering that can be supplied with internal or external brackets. We know that every building is different and one solution doesn’t fit all, so we can also custom make guttering to any size to fit your requirements.
The most common types of guttering profiles are:
- K-Style Guttering – Flat bottom and back with a decorative front – a durable and common style
- Half Round Guttering – A traditional style with a smoother shape that promotes less corrosion and clogging
- Square or Box Guttering – A modern style guttering with bold lines that is often seen on newer homes
As well as spouting and fascia, we also supply downpipes and rainwater heads to ensure the longevity of your system. Downpipes are available in a range of colours to compliment (or contrast) your property’s colour scheme with standard sizes available at 65mm/80mm diameter and 75mm/50mm rectangular. Our expertise in light yet strong steel also allows us to supply a selection of robust rainwater heads to collect water from your gutter and direct it into the downpipe. These are available in Zincalume, Pre-painted steel, Aluminium or Copper. We can discuss with you the best options for your property, region and exposure levels and if there’s any potential compatibility issues between your roof and the guttering material that you want to use.
We have been implementing guttering and spouting projects in Canterbury for over 40 years and know exactly what looks great and will last for years to come. If you need advice on spouting or guttering, give us a ring for a free, no-obligation quote.
